Feeling worthy

May I ask you a question? Do you feel worthy? Worthy of what? you ask... Well generally speaking. I ask this because I briefly watched Oprah's last episode a while back and she mentioned something about feeling worthy because YOU matter. At least that is what I think she said. Well what I took away from that was that I don't feel worthy all the time. I kept pondering why I don't feel completely worthy in all aspects of my life.

Here is why. Is it me or when you go shopping and you find THE outfit, you know the one that will change your life forever. You're ready to make the leap and purchase it or add it to your cart only to find out that the item was not available in your size. As a matter of fact was never made in your size. Then when you scour the web to find an "equivalent" you find that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that is available. That to me is when I don't feel worthy. When I have to "sit this one out" to watch all the skinny girls snatch up the outfit that was made for "Me!"

Other minor (well in reality they aren't minor) episodes of feelings of unworthiness would be having bad credit that prevents you from getting your dream "whatever." With this recession there are many folks that have less than stellar credit. And if you had better credit you can get that "whatever" your heart desires, whether it be a new home or car.

There are other episodes through life that make us feel unworthy. So I ask you what makes you feel unworthy? And what do you do to remind yourself that you ARE worthy? Please post your comments, I would love to hear your feedback!

I'm baaack!!!

It has been a long while but now I'm back. I need to stick to my commitment of blogging about my weight loss journey. I am working at it again! Ugh! I was compelled to restart my weight blog because I wanted to talk about being worthy. I will discuss it further tomorrow. I cut my finger pretty bad and I'm heading to bed.
